House-made Cranberry Chutney Recipe
One of the things we enjoy about the holidays is the exchanging of tried and true recipes. With that thought we are happy to share with you our very popular Cranberry Chutney recipe. Enjoy!
The deep, tart flavors of cranberries slow cooked with apples, ginger, coconut sugar and cinnamon make this chutney a house favorite. Don’t worry, our recipe is below in case you are like us and can’t seem to get enough of this delicious treat!
20 ounces cranberries
4 apples, peeled, cored, and diced
2 tablespoons fresh grated ginger
1/2 cup apple cider vinegar
1 cinnamon stick
Zest from 1 lemon
Juice from 2 lemons
1/4 cup coconut sugar (more to taste)
- Add all ingredients to a large saucepan over medium heat
- Bring to a boil stirring occasionally
- Reduce heat and simmer for 25 minute
- Mash remaining whole berries
- Enjoy warm or cold!
